As a conservative many expect me to be against the NY Mosque. Well, as a strict constitutionalist I am for it. There are no constitutional grounds to prevent it. It is private property and if they wish to build it then there is not a single thing we can do without violating their rights to have it. If we empower the government to violate the rights of those we disagree with, we also empower then to violate OUR rights. I just cannot support such a stance. Unless a law is broken and their rights are removed via due process of the law...

Please everyone, if you have children make sure you secure your firearms. One man in Chino Hills recently failed to secure his loaded firearm, and two of his sons (10 and 12 years old) are now dead. It appears that one boy shot the other and then shot himself. My guess is that the old boy grabbed the gun went to show his brother and accidentally shot his brother, realized what he did and then killed himself. I am about as pro-gun as they come, but please be responsible!
